Within seconds of placing the bowl pasta on the board, she’s off to discover it.
Moving very quickly, it doesn’t take long for her to reach the bowl and very curiously plunge her fingers into it.
Grabbing a small handful of soft squiggly noodles, she pulls them out to get a closer look.
With one or two in hand, she sits back, brings them to her mouth and looks at me and smiles. A new discovery, new texture, new taste, what fun.
Discarding the ones she has, she goes back in for more, this time, getting ahold of the bowl and dumping the noodles out.
These perfect little finger foods help the little ones master their pincher grasp and are a great form of entertainment.
Loaded with vitamins B, iron and carbohydrates, provides them with the much needed energy for crawling, climbing, screaming and laughing.
Boil noodles in a pot of salted water for 15-20 minutes, or until very soft. Remove from element, drain and rinse well. Let cool completely, cut into smaller pieces and use for finger food. Or mix with fruit puree, veggie puree or cheese
